Expert general dentistry services at
a reasonable cost. That's our promise.

Take a look at the general dentistry services we provide in our warm, welcoming office. Then call to make an appointment with one of our dentists or dental hygienists. You'll be glad you took the first step toward better health and a beautiful smile.

Dr. Gary Millinger's office provides these general dentistry services:

General dentistry and preventive care: Fillings, crowns, cleanings, and digital x-rays are all part of our general dentistry services, but our preventive care goes beyond routine cleanings and cavity prevention. We make sure our patients understand the importance of good daily oral hygiene habits—after all, you're a major partner when it comes to taking care of your teeth!

Emergency dental care: Accidents and trauma can happen without warning to children and adults, and they often require immediate care to save or restore teeth. We can arrange emergency services and coordinate with nearby hospitals, if needed.

Gum therapy (periodontics): Infection in the gums or jawbone can lead to serious dental and general health problems. It’s important to identify and treat these conditions because they can lead to loss of teeth—and even increase your risk of heart attack and stroke.

Nitrous oxide: If you're really anxious when you visit the dentist, you may want to try sedation. Nitrous oxide, also called laughing gas, can be a great help to people who want to take care of their teeth, but need a little something extra to relax. It's perfectly safe and most people find it has no unpleasant side effects.

Root canal therapy: Also called endodontic therapy, a root canal procedure is necessary when the inner core of a tooth is damaged by injury or decay. With today’s technology, root canal procedures are usually painless, and they can save teeth that would have been routinely extracted not too many years ago.

Extractions: Oral surgery can involve removal of decayed teeth, impacted wisdom tooth removal, and the placement of dental implants. For patient comfort, we provide several types and levels of sedation for oral surgery procedures.

T.M.J. therapy: If your teeth aren’t aligned, or if you have a habit of clenching your jaw or grinding your teeth at night, you might have pain, stiffness, or a clicking noise in your temporomandibular joints. We can help with special treatments and appliances to keep your teeth from misaligning or grinding.

Wisdom teeth extraction: When wisdom teeth are healthy and in their proper place, they are an asset. But when there isn’t enough room in your jaw for these large teeth, or if they are misaligned or don't grow in properly, they can become a problem. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause infection, pain, swelling, jaw stiffness, and even general illness. Our dentists are experts at removing impacted wisdom teeth, and make our patients feel safe and comfortable during treatment. We provide several levels of sedation and attentive follow-up care.

Dentures and repairs: Denture technology has come a long way! If you've lost your teeth to decay or injury, dentures can improve your appearance and your quality of life. Besides making eating easier, dentures keep your facial muscles from sagging and improve your speaking, too.

Children's dentistry: Also called pediatric dentistry, the treatment of children requires additional training after dental school, focusing on the growth and development of children's teeth and special knowledge about dental trauma and sedation.

Now is the time to schedule an appointment for that cleaning, filling, or crown! You’ll feel right at home with our warm, caring dental staff. Call for an appointment today. 860.525.2366

Good dental care is one of the best investments you will ever make, and our commitment is to provide the highest quality service at a reasonable cost. But we know that dental technology can be costly. That's why we help our patients determine the best way to pay for treatment.

Before we begin, we'll discuss fees and financial arrangements, and help you find out if our services are covered by your insurance. We submit dental insurance claims to most insurance companies. Call us--our staff will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns. If you don't have insurance, you may be eligible to participate in Care Credit, a dental financing option. We also accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
